Love is Patient, Love is Kind

 ^"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. ⁵ It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. ⁶ Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. ⁷ It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."    I Corinthians 13



My daughter just got married this past weekend in Austin, TX, and we gave her and her husband this framed Scripture from I Corinthians 13. This Bible passage reminds us that God IS Love. And wherever you see true love, you will see the fruit of the Holy Spirit of Jesus: Love, joy, peace, kindness, gentleness, persistence, faithfulness, and self-control.



Jesus came and gave us 2 simple all encompassing commandments. First, we must love God with all our being; then we must love one another. That's it! And it doesn't get  any simpler than that!
